Outdoor serving may open earlier in Växjö

In the year 2020, the municipality of Växjö decided to remove the fee for outdoor restaurants in the city, and in addition, the municipality has decided to give businesses the opportunity to open outdoor restaurants earlier.

– When we are in a situation where business life is strained, we want from the municipality to do as much as we can to facilitate. Therefore, measures that enable the outdoor serving to start before April 1 and to remove the fee for leasing site land to outdoor serving throughout the municipality are important, says Sofia Stynsberg (M), chairman of the Technical Committee, in a press release.

At the end of week 13, those who want to be able to open their outdoor serving will get the chance to do it.
