Part-time firefighters are sought in Växjö and Alvesta

There is a shortage of part-time firefighters in Växjö and Alvesta. Now, Värend's rescue service is starting a campaign to open up the interest for all different people to want to become firefighters.

"We want to show the breadth of the mission and the importance of having people in the local communities who want and can save lives," writes Värend's rescue service in a press release.

Värend's rescue service hopes to fill the sites at six of eight stations where there is currently a shortage of part-time firefighters.
