Police chase in central Växjö

Earlier this week, a driver refused to pull over when a police patrol tried to stop his car in the Norr area in Växjö. Instead, it lead to a police hunt in downtown Växjö where the car could finally be forced off the road, writes Smålandsposten.
– The police managed to force the car off the road. Then two people from the car ran and one of them, a boy in his 15s, got arrested, says police press spokesman Robert Loeffel to Smålandsposten.
The car has been stolen in connection with a burglary in a residence in Stojby, north of Växjö. The police also found suspected theft in the car that could be connected to the residence.
