Powerful job market in Kronoberg

The unemployment rate in Kronoberg County continues to fall. Employers are described as having continued high recruitment needs and the number of vacancies is increasing.

– The county's strong job market together with intensive work of employers' helps unemployed with disabilities. The group's unemployment has decreased in one year, both among young men but also in the group as a whole, says Valdete Hashani, labor market analyst at the Employment Service.

In March, it was 7.9 percent registered as unemployed, which was 0.4 percent lower than the same month last year. The proportion of young people who are unemployed has also decreased.
