Prices for condominiums are falling in Växjö, according to the latest figures from Swedish Real Estate Statistics. In the past three months, prices have fallen by 4 percent. At the same time, house prices increased by 2.1 percent.

– A stable market with a balance between buyers' and sellers' price expectations means that many dare to change homes. At the same time, warnings of a higher repo rate create more concern than before, which temporarily holds prices back. However, future interest rate hikes and cyclical developments can be challenging for the housing market in the long term, says Marcus Svanberg, who is the CEO of Länsförsäkringar Fastighetsförmedling, in a comment according to Smålandsposten.
