Pupils from Växjö to UN meeting
In a couple of weeks, the eighth-graders Tuwa Brogård, Mohanned Sader, Nikodemius Ivarsson and Lilly Persson at Lammhult's school will attend a UN conference in Nairobi, Kenya. The students and two teachers will participate in the conference, which is organized by UNEP, the UN's environmental program.
- We will help build a future ship and also help those who are poor, says Mohanned Sader to Smålandsposten.
On the future ship, they will hang up leaves with messages. In total, about 400 people from Sweden, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania will participate in the conference.
