Record month for Växjö companies - will hire new employees

Venture Design, based in Växjö, designs, markets and distributes furniture to 17 different countries and has around 50 factories in Asia. In April, the company had its best month ever.

– It's almost a shame to say that we're doing really well in these times. But we have many customers who sell home furnishings and furniture on large websites, and we have everything adapted to it, says Ola Johansson, CEO of Venture Design.

How has trade increased?

– There are fewer people who go to physical stores but many cares about the home and apply for e-commerce. The online pages have received a boost, not least when it comes to the category home and furnishings.

Due to the high demand and pressure, Venture Design will hire a few new employees.
