Record number of fraud in the county

In 2018, a record number of reports of fraud offenses were made in the country, and every month approximately 6,000 reports were made in the police area Region South, writes P4 Blekinge.
In Region Syd, where, among other counties, Kronoberg County is included, there are currently 4,000 reports which have not yet received any administrator.

- The inflow of fraud is increasing, we see this clearly. It is by far the most serious crime category. The workload is incredibly high, says Carolina Adler, Head of the Fraud Section in Police Region South, to P4 Blekinge.
The police are now hoping to investigate more fraud offenses faster in 2019, as more employees will be recruited.
