Relatives may say goodbye
Växjö • Publicerad 4 maj 2020
The intensive care unit in Växjö is one of the places where the prohibition of visiting in coronation times is avoided. In the case of relatives who are allowed to make a final farewell to people who are dying in covid-19, exceptions are made.
– If we can plan to receive the relatives we will do it, it is very important for them to say goodbye," says Niklas Silvert, head of operations for the anesthesia clinic in the Kronoberg Region to P4 Kronoberg.
In order to meet a relative who is cared for at IVA, the relative must wear protective equipment.
Relatives of dying covid patients may also meet their relatives elsewhere in Sweden.
