Restaurants are criticized - could be forced to close

Inspectors from the Environmental and Health Protection Office in Växjö visit restaurants to check that they follow the rules of the Public Health Authority to prevent congestion among guests.

They visited three restaurants in early May and during all three visits there was congestion and the tables were not placed far enough apart, Smålandsposten writes.

The restaurants are urged to try to spruce up the tables and if measures are not taken it will be reported to the Medical Officer who may decide to close down the business, Smålandsposten writes.
