She becomes new governor

On October 31, Governor Ingrid Burman retires. On Thursday morning, the government presented its decision on who will become the deputy governor of Kronoberg County.

It will be the county council Kristina Zetterström, who has a solid work experience from both public administration and private organizations. She has, among other things, been head of the Swedish Parliament Administration and the Government Offices, and has worked with both EU issues and local and regional issues.

– The County Administrative Board is a fantastic place to work if you want to work broadly with social issues. I am honored to have received the question and my ambition is to manage the assignment in the best possible way, says Kristina Zetterström.

At the same time Stefan Carlsson was appointed as a new substitute county council. They will have their new services until the government has appointed the ordinary governor and county council.
