She gets a new top job

Karin Bååth has got a new job. She will become new business manager in Lessebo municipality as of August. She most recently comes from a role as Chief Operating Officer at STCC AB, who previously held championships in track racing.

– It is fun to be able to present Karin as new business manager in Lessebo municipality, says commander-in-chief Christina Nyquist. Our goal is to increase to 10,000 inhabitants by 2025 and this plan includes the establishment of more companies in our municipality. Karin will have a key role in that work.

Karin Bååth has previously been CEO of Växjö City Cooperation. During her career, she has run her own business and helped with other companies. In her new role in Lessebo municipality, she will be responsible for the development of business and rural areas.

– As a business manager it is my job to contribute in the way a municipality can because the municipality here is in the heart of Småland and should develop to its full potential. It is collaboration with those who want and can start, develop and run companies that provide jobs and in other ways makes this Småland pearl attractive to visit and live in, says Karin Bååth.
