Signs warn of unusual infection

130 signs with information, of which seven in Kronoberg, are now set up. They will be available in different languages and encourage people not to throw food leftovers in nature, reports P4 Kronoberg.

For example, cured meats from other countries can spread the African swine fever.

– We are very worried that this disease will enter Sweden. A lunch sandwich with sausage or ham can spread the disease to the wild boar and then to our domestic pigs, says Maria Cedersmyg, veterinarian at the Swedish Board of Agriculture to P4 Kronoberg.
