During the first quarter, almost 1,500 companies went bankrupt in Sweden. New statistics from Creditsafe show that bankruptcies have increased by five percent and that large companies, such as the bedding company SOVA, have gone bankrupt recently.

In eleven of 21 counties, bankruptcies increased in March, compared with the same month last year. In Kronoberg County, six companies went bankrupt, which is two more than last year.

During three months, 21 limited joint-stock companies have gone bankrupt in Kronoberg County. There are three companies, or 17 percent, more than in the first quarter last year.
