It is now clear how many newly arrived persons that each municipality will receive next year according to the Settlement Act, which has been created for the municipalities in the country to share the responsibility to receive new arrivals. There are 7,100 people to be distributed throughout the country, partly 5,000 quota refugees who come directly from refugee camps in different parts of the world and partly 2,100 people who have been granted residence permits and must move from the Migration Board's facilities.

Hem & Hyra has presented the entire list of how many people each municipality should receive. 20 new arrivals will be assigned to Växjö municipality in 2020. That is one more than this year. Växjö is the only municipality in Kronoberg County that receives an increase compared to this year.

Alvesta, Lessebo, Markaryd and Tingsryd will not receive anyone according to the figures. Uppvidinge would receive 20 people in 2019 but next year the figure is down to six. Älmhult and Ljungby are also receiving fewer instructions than in the past year.
