Staff and guards at the hospital were attacked

On two occasions this weekend, guards and staff at the hospital in Växjö were attacked by people who had opinions on the care. During Sunday afternoon, three men in their 20-30s became aggressive.

– They were looking for hospital staff because they felt they had not received proper care. Then the order guard was forced to go in between to protect the staff. He got hit in the face and pushed away, says Robert Loeffel, press spokesman at the Police Region South, to Smålandsposten.

Last Saturday, another incident occurred. One patient who entered the emergency room became angry and kicked and spit on the staff when she was taken care of. She is suspected of violence against an official.
