Strong job growth in the county

The activity in the tourism industry in Kronoberg County is growing considerably. According to Visita, job growth in the tourism industry has grown four times faster than the county's other labor market over the past ten years. A large part of the new jobs has gone to foreign-born people.
The number of people employed in the tourism industry in Kronoberg County grew by 31.6 percent between 2008 and 2017. There is in total more than 3,000 workers in the tourism industry.
