Charlotta Rahm, who works as a teacher at Mohedaskolan, has been appointed Sweden's best geography teacher in 2018.

– It feels great. In the beginning, I cared about the Jante law and thought that there were so many other good geography teachers who deserved the prize. But now I have landed in it, and I am really proud and happy, says Charlotta Rahm to Smålandsposten.

It was a colleague who nominated Charlotta Rahm for the award that she will receive at a dinner at the Royal Academy of Sciences on April 24th.

– I think I have got the award for my way of teaching geography. I try to mix the theoretical with the practical. The pupils have, among other things, made topographic models in troll dough and had to compare their physical school path with the children in other countries, says Charlotta Rahm to the newspaper.
