That is when the school in Växjö will be demolished

Before the summer of 2017, the last pupils left Bergundaskolan in Räppe. Now, the Växjö company GBJ will build a completely new residential area there and the demolition will start on January 24th.
– Where the school stands today, it will be a varied and green neighborhood with both rental apartments and condominiums. The new houses largely follow the existing building's location, which means that we only have to drop a few trees, says Staffan Dahlström from GBJ in a press release.
A total of 140 apartments will be built, 80 rental apartments and 60 tenant-owned apartments. The building will begin in March and the moving in will take place in the spring of 2021.
