Växjö-based company European Speedrunner Assembly, which runs Smålands Spelhall and organizes Europe's largest speedrunning event, will present a completely new concept within the e-sports genre speedrunning from January 31 to February 2.

They have invited the world's seven top Super Mario 64 players to Växjö. During the ESA: Break the Record Live event, stars invited from Europe, the United States and Australia will try to set a world record in the game, which is one hour and 38 minutes. One of the players is Swedish and the total prize amount is a record 200 000 Swedish crowns.

The event is commented on and broadcast live on ESA's stream channel with a quarter of a million followers worldwide.
