The body’s identity is expected soon

On Tuesday, a body was found in a forest section in the western parts of Alvesta municipality. The body was found by a berry picker and so far one does not know who the dead person is or how long the body has been in it.
According to P4 Kronoberg, the police hope that the forensic examination will be completed this week. They hope to get an answer soon to identity the person and cause of death.
Currently, the police believe that the person has been dead for a long period, perhaps for several years.
