The new building permit for Växjö's new station and town hall has been appealed again. Quality housing appeals against the building permit, which was decided at the end of June.

- We are not surprised, but we have not taken note of the motivation yet, says municipality-owned Vöfab's chairman Patrik Åkesson (KD) to Smålandsposten.

Quality housing believes that the building contravenes cultural historical values, the city's design and character, the detailed plan, the parking norm, architectural values and causes damage to the property value at Håkan Sjögren 5, which they own. In addition, the company itself should not have received a building permit for 18 new homes because the height of the building was contrary to the current detailed plan. The new station and municipal building will also be higher than the plan allows, but the building committee has approved it.
