The burglary in Kronoberg decreases

Housing burglary is decreasing in Växjö and Kronoberg counties. Last year, 1.6 burglaries were reported per 1,000 households in Växjö.

Försäkringsbolaget IF has compiled the Crime Prevention Council's, Brå, figures for burglary. In 2019, 200 burglaries were reported in Kronoberg County, which is eleven percent fewer than the year before.

During the years 2017 to 2019, more than 40 percent fewer burglaries were reported compared to the period 2012-2014. In Växjö and Alvesta, notifications have decreased by 45 and 63 percent, respectively, during the period.
