The company is investing in 250 summer jobs

Växjö-based Södra will offer 250 summer jobs in 2020. There are jobs throughout Södra's operations, at pulp mills, sawmills and in the forest.

– The summer jobs are an invaluable resource for us in many ways. When we meet the young people and get the pleasure of sharing their personalities and different skills, we are challenged as a company. This develops us in several ways to become even better. We look forward to many applications and to welcome everyone when the season comes, says Christer Thörn, HR director at Södra.

The tasks cover a number of different areas in, for example, production, maintenance, logistics, market, development work, laboratory operations, environment, energy and work in the forest.

– Summer jobs are an excellent way for us to make contacts with future employees, employees who will be an important part of the transition to a bio-based society, says Christer Thörn.
