The dispute over the school fire in Växjö continues

During New Year's Day 2017, parts of Sandsbro school were destroyed in connection with a fire. Five young people caused the fire, which costs about 30 million Swedish crowns for the insurance company Protector. The company has argued that young people are liable for damages. Now, Växjö District Court has decided that Protector may continue to pursue the dispute and thus go against the young people's lawyers who have demanded that the insurance company's claim to be rejected.

According to the police investigation after the fire, two of the five boys must have put fireworks in a ventilation drum, which caused the fire.
