The investment in Araby is growing

The project “Fria tiden Araby” is about making the district of Araby a place for meetings, activity, culture, sports and integration. Last year, there was a great focus on Araby park arena and the development has been positive.

However, the project has not succeeded in attracting all target groups, especially not girls of certain ages. Therefore, there will be even more activities for girls and women in 2019.

– We have not reached or succeeded in attracting all groups, and especially not girls of certain ages. Although we had activities during the year aimed at this target group and also seen increased participation, we also need and will do more, says Malin Richardson, Head of Unit at Araby Park Arena.

One example is that the Araby park arena will be open to only girls and women one day a week.
