The Kronoberg Region will provide information about corona in several languages

In order for more people to get information about the coronavirus, the Kronoberg Region health communicators will meet residents at Tallgården on Monday and Tuesday. The health communicators are employed in health care and speak more languages than Swedish. They are going to inform and answer health-related questions.

– It is important for us to reach all our residents and for certain groups we need to create customized communication, something that has become clear even nationally. We have found a good collaboration with the housing companies and the municipality in this and it is clear that we all want the same thing, says Jenny Folkesson, public health developer in the Kronoberg Region.

This weekend, 2,800 mailings were also sent to households in the area. The housing companies Växjöbostäder, Victoria Park and CA Real Estate have published information in Swedish, English, Arabic and Somali.
