The military is practicing for war in Växjö

Between September 30 and October 6, the Home Guard in Kronoberg County will exercise on the tasks one has in a crisis or war.
– The scenarios during the exercise will lead to realistic discussions and considerations on how the resources of society can be used in the best way within the total defense in a war situation. Society's resources must be used where they make the best use within the total defense, and in order for this to happen, all actors must understand each other's needs and conditions under the critical situation that the exercise scenario poses, says emergency preparedness director Max Hector.
During the week, military and vehicle transport will be visible in the county. Noise can also occur.
