The mosque can be built in Alvesta

Two years ago, the plans were presented for a new cultural center with a new mosque on Svampvägen in Alvesta. The plans have been criticized and appealed several times but now it is clear that the mosque may be built, writes Smålandsposten.
No one has appealed the court's decision on the building permit and the Charity Organizations Allians Kaukasus can now start building the cultural center, which must be done soon.
According to the agreement with Alvesta municipality, the foundation must be completed by the end of April this year. Otherwise, the agreement can be canceled unless the municipality chooses to extend the time.
