The mosque wants permanent adhan

Last May, the Växjö Foundation received Muslims permission to send a prayer call once a week. The permit expires on May 7, 2019, but the foundation wants to continue with the prayer call.
They have applied to be allowed to continue with loudspeaker-broadcast prayer calls and wish a permanent permit, because they do not want to apply every year. If this is not possible, the foundation wants to have a permit for as long as possible, writes Smålandsposten.
– Permanent permits are not something we usually give out, says Pia Ringius, licensing officer at the police in the region south, to Smålandsposten.
