The party wants surveillance in Alvesta
The Swedish Democrats in Alvesta want to investigate whether certain localities in the municipality need to be monitored with cameras. The party has proposed that the need for surveillance cameras should be investigated together with the police.
– We believe that camera surveillance would facilitate even if the crimes have not increased. It is good if they are in place for the residents and those who come to Alvesta to feel safe, says politician Fredrik Jonsson (SD) to Smålandsposten.
Alvesta municipality is already planning to apply for a permit to camera surveillance at Sjöparken's parking.
