The police are investing - recruiting many new ones

Police Region Syd will recruit 62 new employees to work on crime against particularly vulnerable victims. Twelve of these will be employed in the Kalmar / Kronoberg police area. They are investigators, administrators with analytical skills and administrative support.

- We have seen that there is a great need for support and relief to the investigators in this category in order for them to be more effective in their investigative work. In addition to hiring more civil investigators, we also employ administrative support and administrators who can help analyze and manage, for example, telephone emptying, says Petter Ankarberg, who leads the initiative.
