The police are looking for more volunteers

Police in the South region are looking for more volunteers. Last year, the volunteers participated in assignments at several different festivals, football matches and other events around southern Sweden. In addition, they were figurants in training with special search dogs, the police rider and the national response force, as well as emergency services and ambulance.

It is usually about volunteers being visible and creating security in different contexts.

– We want more people to have the opportunity to be out in the community with us to increase security and work in crime prevention, says Richard Hultemark, volunteer coordinator in the police region of South.
