The police start Neighbourhood Watch in Lessebo

The police and Lessebo municipality are investing in Neighbourhood Watch. The purpose of Neighbourhood Watch is to make housing areas less attractive to criminal activities through increased attention from the residents as well as knowledge of how to protect themselves, which discourages and hampers the thief.
– In the long term, we want to reduce crime and increase the safety of those who live in the localities, says Anna Augustsson, who is newly admitted municipal police in Lessebo and Tingsryd to P4 Kronoberg.
