The police warns in Växjö

In recent days, several older Växjö residents have received calls from suspected fraudsters. According to the police, it is people who claim to be chimney sweepers or workers from the ventilation control. The ‘chimney sweepers’ are described as stubborn and want to come home to the elderly housing immediately.
"The police's opinion is that these ‘sweepers’ offer can be fraud attempts and the advice is not to let them into any housing or enter into agreements with them," writes the police on Facebook. They also appeal to the followers to warn their elderly relatives and acquaintances of the false chimney sweep.
