The region get visible telephone numbers

When the Kronoberg Region has called residents and patients, it has in many cases been "hidden number". To make it clear who is calling, the region will show a common number from October 1st. The units or people who present their own numbers will continue to do so.

- Many people choose not to answer when calling from a hidden number. This means that our employees have to spend a lot of time calling to get in touch. This in turn can lead to the patient not getting information on time. With the help of visible numbers, the resident or patient gets to know who called and we thus get an effective and quick contact, says Mikael Johansson (M), chairman of the regional board.

The number that will be displayed is 0470-58 88 00. Each reception or department will also be recommended to select a common public number in the next step.
