The tourist office in Alvesta is removed

Alvesta municipality is closing down its tourist office and investing in information points with several actors. The municipality has seen that the number of visitors has decreased while more people are looking for information via the internet.

– By outsourcing the tourist information on info points where the visitors usually move, we actually increase the physical accessibility, says Ola Agermark, business manager at Alvesta municipality.

Before the summer infopoints will be started in collaboration with Hotell Rådmannen, Oljeshejkernas station in Alvesta and Huseby. The plan is for more infopoints to be set up in the future.
