Thousands of people in Kronoberg has a debt

Some of the citizens of Kronoberg has a debt to Kronofogden of more than 1 billion Swedish crowns. A total of 4,877 people in Kronoberg were indebted at the turn of the year, 374 persons less than in 2018.
According to new figures from Kronofogden, 1,948 people in Växjö municipality are indebted. That's 2.6 percent of the population. In total, they have a debt of 388,575,070 Swedish crowns. Among women in Växjö, 2.0 percent are indebted and 3.3 percent among men.
In 2017, 2,247 people in Växjö were indebted with a total debt of 432,108,296 Swedish crowns.
