Unemployment is increasing in Växjö and Alvesta

During March, total unemployment in Växjö and Alvesta increased. Alvesta accounted for the largest increase in Kronoberg County with an increase of 1.4 percentage points compared to the same month last year.

In Växjö, the unemployment rate is 8.3 percent, an increase of 0.8 percentage points. In terms of the number of people, there are 444 more than last year in March.

In Lessebo, unemployment drops by 0.8 percentage points. The total unemployment rate in the municipality is 14.2 percent, the largest in the whole of Kronoberg County.
