Växjö is looking for scholars

Each year, the cultural and leisure administration in Växjö award two cultural grants of 25,000 Swedish crowns each to support and encourage cultural practitioners. The scholarships are usually awarded in connection with the National Day celebration in Linnéparken and now the municipality is looking for holders for this year's scholarships.

The last day of application is March 1 and the holder must be 25 years old or younger and have a connection to Växjö.

"We also have scholarships for association leaders, and we also want Växjö residents to propose holders of the Växjö municipality's cultural prize 2019," writes Lena Jidne, Communicator at the Culture and Leisure Administration, in an email to Mosaik.
