Young man passed away in traffic accident

Early Sunday morning, a traffic accident occurred near Torne in the municipality of Alvesta. A passenger car drove into a tree. A major rescue call was called to the scene.

The car was driven by a 20-year-old man and he died in connection with the accident. The driver was alone in the car at the time of the accident. The police know nothing about the cause.

– We will carry out a technical examination of the vehicle and look at the scene of the accident afterwards to try to find out what has happened, says the police on-call investigative officer Alexander Gustafsson to Smålandsposten.
