Young people can start their own business
Next summer, young people in Alvesta will be offered summer jobs within the municipality. Summer jobs are a chance for young people to test the working life and different occupations within the municipality's operations. This year, young people born 2000 to 2002 are offered to work six hours a day for four weeks during the summer.
- It is a good way for the young people to get the first difficult job, says Anna-Lena Andersson, who is a staff consultant at the municipality to Smålandsposten.
New for this year is also that young people can try to start their own business. This is because Alvesta municipality has started a collaboration with the company Ungdrive.
