The recent elections have caused a significant change that was not expected in Sweden's politics. These elections caused a clear turn in political life in Sweden, after the rise of the Democratic Swedish Party to power. This political change is likely to change the features of Sweden, which is known globally as its humanity and its respect for human rights and based on the principle of equality and cultural tolerance.

The issue of immigration and migrants is one of the hottest issues that are circulated among political parties in Europe in general and in Sweden in particular. It may even be a lucky stone of the strict right -wing parties that guarantees them victory. The influx of refugees in recent years to Europe has served many right -wing parties. The issue of immigration also helped the rise of the Sweden Democratic Party in Sweden to be the second largest party in Sweden in only 12 years, after it was a political and social outcast. This party uses the issues of immigrants as a ladder that help it to rise to power. It raises fear of the presence of migrants in society and is linked to gangs and crime. It also accuses them of their inability to integrate into society and adapt with the laws of the country. Several issues related to immigrants have also been raised this year, and raising these issues contributed in one way or another to the rise of the SD party to power. Like the issue of taking children from their parents by social services, which sparked widespread controversy at the media level. In addition to the riots issued by some immigrants as a reaction to the burning of the Qur’an. The extremist right party media portrayed these events as the inability of migrants to integrate and not adapt them to the laws of the country. Therefore, the extreme right party employed everything that happened in his favor and has already won the 2022 elections, to climb and become the second largest party in Sweden. But the rise of the Sweden Democratic Party was a shock to both most Swedish and immigrants. It also caused great concern among the expatriates to Sweden. Because this party is known for its hatred of foreigners, its opposition to the policy of immigration and the presence of immigrants, in addition to adopting an ideology based on racism and hatred. Therefore, the rise of this party left a great concern among immigrants in Sweden, especially those whose issues are still stuck in the immigration department. Like asylum -seekers, temporary residency owners, and reunification issues.

The pessimistic discourse was present and strongly among people. Many of them were disappointed by the rise of the Democratic Swedish Party to power. The pessimistic discourse was not limited to immigrants, but many Swedish were not happy with the results of the elections. Immigrants' concern revolves around decisions that can be taken in the new government that may cause a lot of exclusion, inequality and lack of freedom of choice. There is also a great concern about the outbreak of racism and hatred. Many are concerned about the transformation of Sweden, which was known and still is known for its humanity and its preservation of human dignity to a country where racism and hatred prevail. They think that Sweden will not be the country that bore thousands of migrants the trouble of coming to it in order to live a safe and decent life. In addition, many immigrants blamed the newly established party which called "Nyans", which according to some statistics, took 20-30 % of the votes in some electoral districts in the cities of Malmö and Stockholm. Some accused the party of dispersing the voices that were supposed to be in the interest of parties that support immigrant issues. Rather, there are those who went further and said that the establishment of the Nyans party at this particular time is a planned plan to win the extremist right party. Because the Nyans Party defends the same issues that the Democratic Swedish party exploits in order to create a fear of the presence of immigrants. Many immigrants are not satisfied with the creation of the Nyans party, which claims to defend their cases and will raise their votes. Many believe that its agenda contradicts the Sweden Democratic Party and supports it at the same time, because it confirmed its claim against immigrants. Although there are those who see that Nyans will support their issues and will raise their voices, it is the only way to defend their issues and rights. However, the majority see that this party will increase their isolation and will harm them more than it may benefit them.

Regardless of whether the right-wing or left-wing parties win, the weakest group, which may be affected by the change of politics in Sweden, are the immigrants. The worthy question now is: With this great political change from the far left to the far right, will the Sweden, which was known and is still known as the most humane country, that based on the values of Cultural tolerance and acceptance of differences and which bore thousands of migrants the trouble of coming to it in order to live a safe and decent life, the same, or will SD change its features?
