John Lundvik from Växjö competes in Eurovision

John Lundvik from Öjaby in Växjö won Melodifestivalen 2019. He was superior in the finals in Friends Arena in Stockholm and won with 74 points. Now he is Sweden's hope in the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel 2019.

On May 16, the artist competes in Eurovision's second semifinal in Tel Aviv. He will try to get the audience's support and get to the finals on May 18th.

– It feels honorable to represent Sweden in the world's largest music competition. The whole world is behind that little lens that you will have ten centimeters from your face, says John Lundvik.

Since the win in the Melodifestivalen, John Lundvik has repeated, made many interviews with national and international press and prepared himself for the important week. He is already in Tel Aviv to prepare the last.
