That is how the new restaurant school in Växjö becomes

A new restaurant school is being built at Kungsmadskolan in Växjö. The premises will be 955 square meters and include a dining room with seating for 80 guests. The restaurant school will also be able to use Kungsmadskolan's premises to receive larger parties.

- We could use the whole school for serving during Christmas, for example. We have received questions from large companies with 150 people, such as the education administration, but we have not been able to solve it because of the local shortage, says Caroline Swahn, program manager at the restaurant and food program.

In the new restaurant school there will be a bar counter and wine cellar in the dining room. A lot of equipment such as frying tables, dishwashers and ovens from Ringsberg have been included.

The total investment will be over 50 million Swedish crowns.
