The big chain opens a new store in Växjö

On Thursday, Granngården opens its new store in Växjö. The big chain with over one hundred stores in Sweden moves its current store to the I11 area.
– We have been looking for a new location for our store in Växjö. We want to be more accessible and get closer to other retails. Where we have been now, there has been a lot of destination-oriented, says Olof Fransson, Country Manager at Granngården.

The new store is located nearby Willys and Dollarstore in the retail area. The chain has worked on broadening the range and investing in an outdoor market focusing on garden. New store also means more jobs.
– Existing staff follow the new store, and we have hired a couple of new ones to meet the expected customer increase, says Olof Fransson.
