The students in Växjö get to celebrate

Växjö Municipality has decided that there will be a student closure for Katedralskolan, Kungsmadskolan and Teknikum week 24 as previously planned. The students will gather in class, scattered around the school premises and then be able to run out to a limited audience.

- All details about the respective student leaflets are not clear yet, but we will follow the contagion situation in the region, follow the recommendations of the Public Health Authority and also have a dialogue with the Police if it is needed to arrive at what is deemed appropriate. Safety goes first, says Christian Sandahl, head of high school at Växjö municipality.

Since student gathering is not counted as a general gathering if it occurs on the school grounds, and it is not covered by the government's decision to limit 50 people. The leap may take place provided that it is carried out with good planning and logistics so that relatives gather separately with the student and with good distance to other families.
